Unemployment
Wow.
I’m unemployed….
and dammit, I didn’t want to leave.
I haven’t been able to say that for a very, very long time. I have never enjoyed a job as much as I have enjoyed ths one.

Uncertainty
Uncertainty is just shitty.
A year ago, we had a plan. We would do up the house, sell it, buy a unit for the kids and move to San Francisco. A pretty simple plan in the grand scheme of things.
So, we did up the house and put it on the market almost 4 months ago.

I wrote these a year ago, almost to the day.
I found my old blog, finally! I only made two posts on it, but I found them interesting, as I originally thought it would take us a matter of weeks to get the house finished. It turns out it took us almost exactly a year.
