Rum Balls – a Christmas Yummy!
Rum balls were the only thing my mother ever made that were a huge success. She was not known for her culinary skills, but we adored her anyway.
â— 250g of Marie biscuits (or Milk Arrowroot biscuits)
â— 1 cup of desiccated coconut
â— 2 tbsp. of cocoa
â— 1 x 400g can of sweetened condensed milk
â— Rum, or similar Spirit – e.g. brandy – to taste (I use about 3 tablespoons which makes them quite strong)
Crush the biscuits finely. Add coconut and cocoa and mix well. Add rum. Stir in sweetened condensed milk. Form into balls and roll in coconut.
These will keep, refrigerated, for a couple of weeks, but I dare you to have them last that long!
These are brought to you by a special request from Laura.

Oops.. That was supposed to say *insert Chef jokes here*
this doesn’t look hard!

I hope my children say those very words some day
I plan on making your pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving tomorrow or the next day!
Adding it to the Christmas Day nibblies list already. I will have to go find the pumpkin pie one now to see how it compares to my sister’s version
*snicker* Rah said “hard”
Those look DELICIOUS
