The Bloggest Loser

Hippo Butt

Are you a fat arsed hippo?

My desire to lose weight before embarking on our San Francisco Adventure has never amounted to anything, but now I have been given a little incentive.

There are a bunch of us, thanks to a challenge from Leigh, who are going to be ‘cutting the fat’ and  competing against each other to lose the most weight.

So, get off your fat arses and join in the fun.

I’m aiming for ten kilos.  What’s your goal?

The details

My name is rhubarb and I am a fat arsed hippo. I have just lost 10 kilos. I need to lose another 10 to be healthy, another 20 to have mid range BMI. So, where do I sign up?

I’d just like to thank everyone involved for denying me pizza for how ever many weeks this bloody thing is supposed to go on :P

Seriously, has anyone considered taking charity pledges for kilos lost? Always a good idea to get charities involved where possible. Possibly: a) a hippo-related charity for fun or b) a child-related charity because that’s always the right thing to do.. Just wondering!

4fthawaiian: If we could get off our fat arses and organise something it might be a good idea :)

I actually had this contest with my girlfriend not long ago. I beat her bad. Here’s some tips…5 small meals a deal. Carbs in the morning, no carbs on the 5th meal. Exercise 4-5 times a week (my choice was walking/rollerblading) doesn’t have to be really high impact. I lost 15 pounds in about 3 months. You can speed this up by doing more intense exercise and cutting carbs out of your last 2, maybe even 3 meals of the day.

That’s 5 small meals a day not deal.

I really need to proofread my comments BEFORE I post them…
